OPPORTUNITIES OF ELECTRONIC EDUCATIONAL SPACE IN AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITIES

The relevance of the research is determined by the development of digital technologies in education and the continuing possibility of switching to online learning. The existing terminological and content uncertainty in the issues of digitalization of higher education, the lack of experience in the active use of electronic educational content in the educational process of agricultural universities make it timely to search for effective forms of implementing the competence-based learning model in training future specialists of the agro-industrial complex in the conditions of distance learning. The problem of creating an electronic educational space of a regional agricultural University is analyzed from the point of view of updating the introduction of digital technologies in the practice of higher education. The article defines the electronic educational space of an agricultural University as a new reality of the educational process, which involves organized targeted electronic (distance) learning, which implies an indirect (at a distance) in real and deferred time interaction between students and teachers, based on the electronic content of disciplines, the use of interactive information and telecommunications technologies. The authors use the example of the main professional educational program of higher education in the direction of training «agronomy» to justify the structure, content, information and communication technologies aimed at the formation of universal competencies among graduates. The proposed recommendations make it possible to improve the quality of training of future specialists in the agro-industrial complex, to expand the possibilities of distance learning in agricultural education.
