APPLICATION OF THE ELECTRONIC EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE «TEACHING STUDENTS IN THE METHODS OF SOLVING APPLIED PHYSICAL PROBLEMS» IN THE TRAINING OF A PHYSICS TEACHER

The article describes the structure and content of the electronic educational resource «Teaching students methods of solving applied physical problems» and the methodology of its application for teaching students – future physics teachers. This resource includes five sections, each of which is aimed at developing the following skills in trainees: 1) the selection of types of applied physical tasks from a variety of professional and everyday tasks; 2) development of generalized methods for solving applied physical problems; 3) the choice of the type of applied problem, the method of solving which can be taught while studying a certain topic of the school physics course; 4) concretization of applied problems of the selected type, their formulation; 5) development of a method for solving an applied problem of a certain type based on a generalized method. The content of each section contains theoretical material for self-study by students, presentations, questions and assignments that students can perform both in the classroom and outside it. The organization of the educational process for the formation of students’ methods for solving applied physical problems is presented in six stages. Examples of tasks and the results of their implementation by students in the electronic information educational environment of the university are given. For the development and implementation of the resource, the platform of the e-learning management system LMS Moodle was used, which has great capabilities both for placing educational materials and for organizing students’ independent work, monitoring knowledge and skills. This electronic resource is placed in the electronic educational environment of Astrakhan State University in Russian and English, which creates an opportunity for foreign students to study.
