APPLICATION OF DISTANCE TECHNOLOGIES IN SPECIAL EDUCATION: PROBLEMS AND RISKS

Special education system in recent decades has undergone significant changes not only in organizational, informational, material-technical conditions of psikhologo-pedagogical process of a comprehensive support students with disabilities, but also in part didactic content, starting from the General approach to the process of application of those or other technologies of correction and development training and ending with the quality and the level of academic achievements of students with special educational needs. Interpretation of the practice-oriented approach to teaching children with disabilities in the conditions of active use of remote technologies allowed us to determine the prospects for their implementation. The article deals with specific problems and risks of active use of distance learning for students with disabilities. In the course of a comparative analysis of the conditions for organizing and implementing training using distance technologies, the authors of the article summarize the current issues of possible individualization and differentiation of the pedagogical process, taking into account the specifics of teaching children belonging to different nosological groups who study according to adapted basic educational programs. The question of high-quality and effective support for students with disabilities in this form of education is extremely important: what competencies should an adult sitting next to a child have in order for the educational material offered by a teacher «on the other side of the screen» to be assimilated by a child with special educational needs? The analysis of the existing experience allowed us to determine the range of problematic issues that require a balanced solution.
