An algorithm for modeling the pipeline in the FreeCAD software package was created. It provides for the creation of a solid 3D model, building a mesh of the finite element method, entering data, setting up the solver, setting up computational experiments, and visualizing the calculation results. Finite element models are constructed for two problems: problem with a strong singularity in the form of a fracture line of the pipe surface and a problem with a weak singularity in the form of a line of abrupt change in the surface curvature. Numerical experiments were carried out, their results have been compared with the literature data and with each other. As a result of comparing the results with the literature data, it was found that the constructed mathematical models adequately describe the mechanical system both from a qualitative and quantitative point of view. Qualitative verification was performed by comparing the results with analysis data from other models. Quantitative verification was performed by comparing the results of solving the Lam? problem for pipe in FreeCAD with the known exact solution. As a result of comparing the results of solving two model problems, it was found that in the problem with a strong singularity, the equivalent stresses vary with a large gradient in the vicinity of the singularity than in the problem with a weak singularity. Moreover, in the vicinity of the break line on the inner side of the corner, the stresses exceed the yield strength. On the other hand, the histogram of stress distribution over grid nodes showed that this excess is observed at a relatively small number of nodes.
